Sheffield makes me want to keep it a secret.

It has been my home since I attended Sheffield Technical College (now Hallam University) in 1964/66. I was drawn to both the natural and the social aspects of the city - the 7 hills, 6 rivers and the fantastic amount of woodland and tree-lined streets, just as much as the people who are so friendly and down to earth.

At Gripple & Loadhog – both exporting our unique wire and reusable packaging products around the world - we have always found the city very helpful particularly when seeking planning to build new factories, and I have loved working with the incredible local charities like Whirlow Hall Farm Trust and St Luke's Hospice.
