Write a Winter Woodland Haiku

01 Dec 2024 11.00 - 12.30

Be calm and creative, wrap up warm, wander the wonderful woods, connect with nature, befriend a tree and express yourself through Haiku.

After a welcome Haiku and introduction, a short sensory walk (i.e. not speaking, like 'forest bathing'), participants each choose a tree from the Tree Trail, sit on the ground beside it, read about it, hug it, commune with it and write a Haiku.

Finish with voluntary sharing, hot Japanese tea and cake. If you have local contacts interested in poetry, Haiku and Japan please share this.

Prices
