Subject Group Leader for Food and Nutrition and Principal Lecturer in Nutrition at Sheffield Hallam University

Jenny was instrumental in the successful bid to host The Nutrition Society Summer Conference as well as in the planning and delivery of the event in summer 2022. Hosted in collaboration between Sheffield Hallam University, The University of Sheffield and Sheffield City Council, the event attracted nutrition professionals from around the UK to explore various pathways to a sustainable future.  The four-day conference was hosted at Sheffield Hallam University, and following the sustainable theme, university catering provided canapes for an evening reception which were created from quality surplus ingredients from Food Works Sheffield with recipes created by the university’s students.

Jenny had such a positive experience hosting an event in Sheffield that she is already looking out for the next opportunity.
