In a city with this much greenspace, running is a pleasure, not a chore.

It's difficult to go anywhere around Sheffield without seeing people running. There are the joyous Saturday morning Parkruns (and Junior versions); the passionately proud fell runs (like the Longshaw Sheepdog Trials Fell Race) that weave along city boundaries out in the Peak District; and the casual jogs with friends along the way. Not forgetting the incredible Sheffield Half Marathon, which we think is possibly the best route and best spectated half marathon of any in the world. But we are a bit biased...

Either way if you're a runner, you will love your long weekend/city break/post-conference evening off/life here in Sheffield.
