Women of Steel is a bronze sculpture commissioned by Sheffield City Council to commemorate the women of Sheffield who worked in the city's steel industry during the First and Second World War. It was created by Martin Jennings, and unveiled in June 2016 at an event attended by 100 women who worked in the steelworks. (Imagery from Nigel Barker).
