Upcoming city festivals for spring and early summer...

Festival of Debate 2024

The largest annual non-partisan politics festival in the UK! Expect another challenging and diverse programme of events, featuring an array of well-known keynote speakers, when Festival of Debate returns 16 April — 25 May.

Sheffield Chamber Music Festival

Music in the Round and Ensemble 360 host an annual Festival each May in the Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse and other venues around the city to present informal and inventive performances of classical and modern classical music.

Get Together 2024

Now into its fourth year, Get Together has earnt a reputation as one of the best festivals for original and independent music, art, food and drink. For 2024, the festival returns to Kelham Island for another massive music takeover on Saturday 18 May.

Sheffield Food Festival 2024

One of the city's largest free to attend events for all the family, the festival is a bustling exhibition of Sheffield’s flourishing food & drink scene, with 90% of the traders taking part, based locally. This year's food festival takes place 25 - 27 May.

Crossed Wires: The Podcast Festival

Set to be podcasting's biggest party! This brand new festival will host the most exciting podcasting talent in Sheffield for three days, 31 May - 2 June, with a lineup of blockbuster lives shows, never-seen-before performances and special guests.

Sheffield DocFest 2024

Following a successful 30th edition of the festival in 2023, Sheffield Docfest returns Wednesday 12 June - Monday 17 June 2024.

Sheffield boasts the largest theatre complex outside of London - plus there's a wealth of smaller local theatres and a thriving independent scene. There just isn't enough time to see it all.

Look Up!

Look Up is turning the rooftops of some of Sheffield's most iconic buildings into a FREE, augmented reality art gallery.

Fans of Pokemon Go will love this! Simply download the app (available for IOS and Android) and head out to one of four locations in the city centre where you'll find a Look Up portal, Scan the QR code and then wait for the magic to happen.

What will you see? We don't want to ruin the surprise...
