Founded in 2009, Celluloid Screams has become a destination for horror fans seeking the very best the horror genre has to offer.
In its 17 year history, it has premiered high-profile films such as Paranormal Activity, Mandy, The Witch, Barbarian, The Editor, Psycho Goreman, and Titane. It remains a showcase for emerging, international horror talents.
Blockbusters aside, Celluloid Screams also has an ongoing commitment to supporting emerging talent. With short films just as important to their programme as feature films, they'll often screen one or more short films, before every feature film throughout the festival, giving them the best showcase possible.
With opportunities to meet and network with fans, filmmakers and industry professionals in an informal, relaxed atmosphere, as well as their now-legendary closing night karaoke party.
