A new street art festival for Sheffield!
‘Lick of Paint Festival’ is set to be an artist-led, weekend-long mural and street art event taking place 6 - 7 September, celebrating the diversity and talent of creatives in the North.
With community engagement at its core, the weekend will feature free workshops, talks, and events, while a diverse range of artists—from Sheffield, the wider Yorkshire region, and beyond—will come together to create impactful, high-quality public art.
Expect to see striking additions to walls across Sheffield - sites already confirmed include Fitzalan Square, Castlegate, Victoria Quays, the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal, Wicker and Kelham Island.

Lick of Paint Fest pays homage to Sheffield's long history of graffiti culture, paint jams and events that helped establish a thriving scene in the city.
Festival founders, Megan Russell (AKA Peachzz) and Alastair Flindall are on a mission to create a biannual celebration, while creating year-round projects that showcase local talent and invite fresh faces to our creative community.
They believe art isn’t just for galleries and it should brighten up your everyday.
