Paintings by Andy Cropper

Cupola Gallery are excited to announce Paintings by Andy Cropper, a new exhibition opening on Saturday, 11 October 2025, with a special preview event on Friday, 10 October, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

There will also be an Artist Talk on Thursday 23 October 2025, 7:30 pm at Cupola Gallery.

Andy Cropper has been mapping Sheffield in paint, from the charged stillness of twilight to the deep, cinematic tones of the nocturne. Best known for his atmospheric night‑time city-scapes, this exhibition also unveils earlier works rarely or never shown before.

Together, they reveal the evolution of his eye and craft over more than a decade and a half. The paintings form a portrait of a city across time, light, and memory: streets that hum with presence, buildings that hold their breath, and Sheffield both familiar and transformed.
