Slambarz, in collaboration with Pirate Studios, presents Behind the Barz.

This powerful documentary follows 8 artists and 4 producers as they take on the challenge of creating a full record from scratch in just one day.

Split into three teams, these creatives combine their unique styles, ideas and approaches under pressure to craft three original tracks, showing what collaboration, urgency and raw talent can produce when time is limited and the stakes are high.

This is what northern artistry looks like.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the cast, unpacking the creative process, behind-the-scenes dynamics and discoveries made along the way.

The evening will finish with a live performance of all three tracks featured in the film.
