The Camellia House

The Camellia House at Wentworth Woodhouse is a newly restored dining destination. This previously forgotten Grade II* listed glasshouse full of historic camellias, formerly Lady Rockingham’s Tea Room, will serve a range of international small plates alongside delicious global teas.

The Georgian Camellia House, home to some of the Western World’s oldest camellias, has been rescued and transformed into a celebration of the globe’s most popular drink… tea. Thanks to funding raised by National Lottery players, and support from other funders including Historic England and The Hamish Ogston Foundation, the glass-fronted structure has now returned to its past splendour – and its early roots.
