The Horse & Jockey

The Horse and Jockey’s ethos is to provide a friendly atmosphere, with amazing home cooked food, whilst serving up a fantastic range of locally brewed keg and cask beer; including True North Brew Co. beer and gins. A local pub, for local people.

There is a beautiful function room that seats up to 40 guests and a dining room celebrating the pub’s Hillsborough and Sheffield surroundings. Both can be hired out for celebrations, group meals and meetings and the events team will be on hand to help you build the perfect package for any event.

The addition of The Stable, an amazing outdoor bar with a heated terrace that can seat up to 24 guests, is alongside The Paddock, another fantastic outdoor area seating up to 90 guests. Specialist cocktails, great beer and lots of laughs will be found out here.

All their home-cooked food is locally sourced, and the menu reflects what guests love to eat and what the chefs enjoy cooking; pub classics, stone-baked pizzas, charcuterie sharing boards and hanging kebabs.
