Dubcentral is back with more Deep Roots and High Vibrations. This time, Prince Jamo joins them Live & Direct for a special DJ and vocal set, performing on the full Dubcentral Sound System! He’ll be playing his own productions and exclusive dubplates, as well as blessing the mic live over selections throughout the session. And, for this event, Dubcentral returns to their spiritual home - the newly refurbished Three Arches!

Prince Jamo is a seasoned UK Roots Reggae artist, singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer; running the Blackrose label. Known for his conscious Roots music and immaculate singing style, he hails from Birmingham and is a member of One Nation Sound System. Jamo has performed all across the UK and at major festivals, including Dub Camp. His recent releases and dubplates are played by many of the UK’s top Dub Sound Systems, and he’s widely regarded as one of the UK's most sophisticated and heavyweight Roots Reggae artists.

Dubcentral will be holding the session at Sheffield’s newest underground venue - The Three Arches - a space steeped in local music history and now reborn. Anyone who attended Dubcentral in the 2000s will remember the calibre of events they held on both sides of the Arches. Situated at the bottom of Spital Hill, these iconic railway arches have hosted some of their biggest and most legendary sessions - and they’re absolutely thrilled to be back.

The event takes place on the Saturday of Tramlines Festival - one of the busiest music days in Sheffield. It’s the perfect late-night Fringe event and link-up after a day exploring the main festival. Whether you’re a longtime Dubcentral-ite or a newcomer, if you love Roots Reggae, Dub, and Sound System - this is the place to be!

This will be the first outing with the full Dubcentral Sound System! Expect ruff & tuff bass pressure and Roots, Rockers, Rubadub, Dub & Revival all night long.
