Pitsmoor Christmas Cabaret

Now in it's third year the Pitsmoor Christmas cabaret returns for another year of merry and mirth at the Holtwood scout hut.

Featuring Thorsen and Jorsen, two Nordic Fisherman brothers, who live on a light house together and try not to fight. Cheerful, charming, silliness.

Helen Rice is a poet and comedian who brings an offbeat lens to the everyday. Whether it’s trying to find a dentist, stacking the dishwasher or getting competitive at the school gates, enter the world of Helen Rice and see life from a slightly wonky angle.

Combining humour with poignant observation, expect a melting pot of wordplay where the mundane marries with the absurd to produce a show unlike anything else.

Sid Bowfin is the creation of performer musician Adrian Garratt. A world class violinist and clown, his classical comedy acts have been seen by audiences all over the world, at events ranging from corporate dinners and private parties to international arts festivals.

As Sid Bowfin, he combines classical music and comedy in a completely unique way: part recital, part stand up comedy, part clown routine. And he’s a master of improvisation – no two shows are ever the same.

Otis from Reading, forged from local Pitmsoor residents, who you can often hear shaking the walls of Abbefield House, bring their full live band to the Scout hut. Songs of charm and splendour and a tongue wedged in cheek, Jazzy pop sensibilities and indie riffs. A flavour of Dexy's Midnight Runner and Orange Juice with bookish lyrics and heartfelt swoon.
