As the Baton of Hope 2025 Tour approaches, Sheffield Friends Of Baton Of Hope are excited to invite you to join them on Saturday 28th June, from 1–5pm, for the Walk of Hope; a meaningful community event at Weston Park Museum, Sheffield - bringing people together in unity, support, and a shared commitment to break the silence around suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
This free event is a warm-up and celebration of what’s to come during the 2025 tour starting in September. The day will be filled with community, live music and entertainment, and above all... hope.
Whether you’ve walked with them before or are joining for the first time, this is a chance to connect with others, raise awareness, and carry the message that hope will prevail. Let’s walk together, speak up, and move forward — for ourselves, for others, and for hope.
Free
Sheffield Friends Of Baton Of Hope are also inviting 100 individuals to carry the Baton of Hope in honour of a loved one during the walk - a powerful symbol of change and courage.
All Baton Bearers will receive a free Baton of Hope t-shirt to wear on the day.
To apply to carry the baton, please email info@walkofhope-sheffield.co.uk to secure your space. Spaces are very limited so they strongly encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible if you’d like to be involved.
Everyone is welcome to join in even if they don’t wish to carry the Baton, simply walking alongside everyone is a powerful act of support.
