Victorian Christmas Market at Kelham Island Museum

30 Nov 2024 - 01 Dec 2024

Gather under the gas-lamps and celebrate the start of the festive season as the much-loved Victorian Christmas Market returns to Sheffield's Kelham Island Museum on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December.

Peruse unique gifts and local makers with over 80 market stalls selling an array of Sheffield made wares, quality gifts and seasonal goods, you'll find the perfect presents and stocking fillers for your loved ones.

Enjoy festive food and drink, from traditional hog roast to wood fired pizza and relax in the Millowners Arms or warm up with a mulled wine.

There's plenty of fun for the family with children's fairground rides and games, plus miniature engine rides on the museum's' very own 'Kelham Flyer'.

Help the busy elves in Santa's Workshop, strike a pose on the Selfie Sleigh, plus meet the main man himself in Santa's Grotto - don't forget to bring your wish list!

Join in the festive cheer, singing loud for all to hear with plenty of magical music and merriment from local brass bands, musicians, choirs and carollers on the Music Hall Stage.

Don't miss the wonderful walkabout characters, traditional dancers and the amazing Snow Queen on stilts too.

The main museum will also be open, so you can explore the galleries, learn about Sheffield's steel story and feel the floor shake as the mighty River Don Engine runs on the hour, every hour!
