Barrowboy Bar

The name Barrowboy is a nod to the hundred-year history the venue had of being a grocery store.

Nowadays, you can expect a mouth-watering cocktail menu, rotating craft beers in the fridge and ice cold brews on the tap, as well as a delicious selection of wine from this vibrant neighbourhood bar located on Sheffield's Abbeydale Road. 

Offering the perfect accompaniment to a few drinks, the bar kitchen is run by BaoChicka (a new food concept by one of Sheffield's best burger slingers, Slap & Pickle) serving up a tempting fusion of bao buns, gyoza and loaded fries.

Ensuring each dish bursts with flavour, their soft bao buns come with various traditional and vegetarian fillings, while the gyoza are made from scratch, pan-fried to golden perfection, and served with house-made dipping sauce. 

Come for the chilled, friendly atmosphere in the week, and hang-out and have a boogie on the weekend.
