Pollen Market

Popping up on the third Sunday of every month, Pollen is an inner-city flower market that has flourished to become one of Sheffield’s best loved outdoor markets.

A monthly celebration of all things botanical, each event delivers an abundance of greenery, live music, art and local produce, showcasing amazing independent businesses from across Sheffield and beyond.

Pollen is organised by the same team who run Peddler in Sheffield, so there's always a decent line up of street food, treats, coffee and craft beer to enjoy too. It all makes for a great atmosphere with a nice relaxed vibe, and is a lovely way to spend a Sunday in The Outdoor City.

Overlooking the River Don, the market is held along the award-winning Grey to Green corridor in Castlegate, a pioneering urban planting scheme, which has transformed the land between Waingate and Yorkshire Artspace into a green public space that encourages cycling and walking.

Additional Information

Please note that the market venue does change twice a year - in December and February, Pollen is held inside Peddler Warehouse, to shelter market goers from the elements! And there is no market in January, so the team can have a rest.

The market is a short walk from Sheffield Station and by tram, the nearest stop is Fitzalan Square. If you are arriving by bus, you’ll want to alight at Waingate or Snig Hill.

If you are a cyclist, you'll find Pollen on the Sustrans National Cycle Network Routes 6 & 627 and the Inner Ring Cycle Route. Lastly, If you are driving or getting a taxi to Pollen, please use the postcode S3 8LB.

There are a number of parking facilities available on the day, though there are some multi-storeys nearby such QPark at Riverside, RCP open air car park, NCP car park at Blonk Street and there is some on-street parking on Furnival Road.
