Jon Denton, key account manager

He maintains long term relationships with key companies, supporting their strategic growth objectives and has a strong track record of securing investment and being a key point of contact for them within Sheffield City Council. 

As well as 29 years of banking experience, where he consistently delivered both tailored financial and non-financial solutions to help his business customers grow, he now has over 6 years’ experience working as a Key Account Manager, supporting local large employers. 

Jon specialises in connecting with fast growing SMEs that have an ambition to expand and helping them realise their potential. He also enjoys looking at businesses with an outsider’s perspective and loves talking to their owners to identify exciting growth opportunities.
