Sheffield Makes Art at the Heart of Communities

Art at the Heart has been created by four Ignite Imaginations artists, who have each worked within their community to create an art installation, taking inspiration from the stories people have shared with them.

Tramlines announces first wave of acts for 2022

Tramlines, Sheffield’s biggest city-based music festival has announced the lineup for the 2022 event at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield from 22 - 24 July, with Sam Fender, Kasabian and Madness headlining the event.

The pioneering city of electronic music

There are few cities in the world as synonymous with electronic music as Sheffield. For half a century the city has been producing a steady stream of game-changing music that has gone on to impact and shape the way electronic music sounds all across the world.

Bolehills bike track

"Bolehills forever" is a phrase passed around between people who have spent any length of time riding the expertly-shaped golden limescale mounds of the track transformed by Sheffield’s community.

Festival of Fun

Hosted by the Children's University each year, the Festival of Fun offers a huge programme of activities and workshops for children across Sheffield to get involved with throughout the summer school holidays.
