Crucks, Barns and Packhorse Trails walk

A circular walk alongside Underbank Reservoir, through woodland, along bridleways and tracks, via moorland to the Whitwell Ridge and onto the nearby Trig Point where there will be stunning views of the Ewden Valley and beyond.

The walk will return to the start via a short moorland section and then onto an ancient packhorse route that will lead to Cross Lane, close to the start.

  • Terrain: Mostly on good tracks and grassy paths,
