What Are We Getting Up To? The Adventure Service think (in fact, they know) that cooking over a fire is the best way to cook.
It doesn’t matter what you’re cooking but they can guarantee that it will taste better over the fire. Come and join them for an afternoon of outdoor cooking down at their Chesterfield site, where you will help them light the fire, prepare the firewood, and do the majority of the cooking.
It’s great way to not only learn some important survival skills, but how to cook a simple meal in the great outdoors.
This session is specially designed for people with additional support needs. It’s all about having fun, building confidence, and getting stuck into a proper outdoor adventure at your own pace.
To make sure everyone has the support they need, The Adventure Service do ask that a parent or carer comes along, as they can’t provide 1:1 staffing. Plus, it’s always good to have a familiar face there to share the experience!
