Festival of the Outdoors 2025
Every March, as the days are getting longer, drier, and warmer in Sheffield, we celebrate what it means to be The Outdoor City, by hosting the Festival of the Outdoors.
You'll find everything from large-scale international sporting events to small community gatherings; from guided walks to some of the worlds hardest bouldering problems; outdoor markets to film festivals.

Expect the unexpected as the Rock N Roll Circus return's to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl in Summer 2025, taking place over the weekend of 28 - 31 August.
The Graves Park Food and Drink Festival 2025: A Summertime Feast
Brand new for 2025 is The Graves Park Food Festival, taking place on August 30th – 31st within Sheffield’s largest park!
Art in the Gardens
Taking place Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September 2025 in Sheffield's stunning Botanical Gardens, Art in the Gardens is one of the largest outdoor art markets in the North of England, with artists, craft makers and visitors coming from across the UK.
Float Along Festival 2025
Back for their third year, Float Along festival makes a welcome return to Sheffield on Saturday 28 September, with another encompassing mix of post-punk and psychedelic rock, as well as the best in indie and alternative music.
Sheffield 10K 2025
Sheffield 10K is set to take place on Sunday 28 September, with thousands of runners of all abilities taking part.
Sensoria 2025
A celebration of a city and its music, film, art and electronica, Sensoria festival's 18th edition will once again bring live events and exhibitions to iconic venues across Sheffield, 2 - 5 October.
No Bounds 2025
No Bounds are set to host another very special weekend of music, art, technology and dancing in Sheffield, when the 8th edition of the festival takes place 10 - 12 October 2025.
Off The Shelf Festival of Words 2025
Sheffield's annual festival celebrating books, words and ideas, is one of the UK’s largest literary festivals. Taking place 10 - 26 October, the festival will once again be bringing some of the biggest names in literary talent, media and the arts to South Yorkshire.
Steel City Beer and Cider Festival 2025
The annual beer and cider festival hosted by the Campaign for Real Ale in Sheffield, offers a massive selection of the best beer, cider and perry, plus live music and street food. They'll be back at Kelham Island Museum again 15 - 18 October.
