Summer event highlights

Life of Pi

A breath-taking theatrical adaptation of an epic journey of endurance and hope! Life of Pi makes its highly-anticipated return to Sheffield, having first opened to critical acclaim at the Crucible in 2019.

ITTF European Para Table Tennis Championships 2023

The stars of British Para table tennis will have a rare opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd from 4 - 9 September, as the tournament heads to the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield and sees 267 players from 35 countries compete in singles and doubles competitions.

Sheffield Walking Festival

Taking place over ten days each September, the festival celebrates all sides of Sheffield with a whole host of enjoyable walks of varying lengths, with plenty to see and discover along the way. This year the festival will take place 8 - 17 September 2023.

Castlegate Festival

An annual celebration of the rich heritage and culture of Sheffield’s oldest quarter! Now in its seventh year, Castlegate Festival returns 8 - 17 September 2023 with a diverse programme of events and activity.

Sheffield Heritage Open Days 2023

Part of the nationwide celebrations, Sheffield’s biggest festival of heritage and culture takes place between 8 - 17 September with over 120 FREE tours, walks, exhibitions and events.

Popcorn TV, Film & Comic Con

Popcorn TV, Film & Comic Con is a vibrant and immersive gathering that celebrates the passion and creativity of fans and a place where folk can fully embrace their love for popular culture and share in a sense of community with like-minded enthusiasts!

Pollen Market: September 2023

Marking their 2nd Birthday! Pollen Market are set to host a special edition of their monthly botanical spectacular along the Grey to Green corridor in Sheffield's Castlegate district on Sunday 17 September.

Nether Edge Farmers' Market

The September edition of this quarterly market, which takes place in the streets around Nether Edge. Expect a bustling atmosphere with over eighty stallholders selling a vast array of local produce, crafts and wares.

Float Along Festival 2023
