Food and drink is a big deal in Sheffield!

Over recent years, Sheffield has seen a boom in independent eateries, breweries and bars, and the city's food & drink scene is getting some real attention right now. From food halls to fine dining, street food to cosy cafes, across the city you'll be spoilt for choice.

We're a brewing capital of the world with a proud tradition of making our own ale and have plenty of characterful pubs to enjoy it in. But if beer isn't your thing, don't worry- there's a wealth of inventive bars to whet your whistle too. Whether it's gin, wine or cocktails- whatever your taste, we've got you covered!

A Brewing Capital of the World

Back in 2016, a report by the University of Sheffield named us the Real Ale Capital of the World - leading the charge in the upsurge of independent brewing in the UK. We're proud of our pubs and always pleased to see new breweries popping up all the time.

So, whether you favour a hoppy pale, a sour or a milk stout, we're sure you'll find something to your taste.
