We're a brewing capital of the world with a proud tradition of making our own ale and have plenty of characterful pubs to enjoy it in. A Brewing Capital of the World
Back in 2016, a report by the University of Sheffield named us the Real Ale Capital of the World - leading the charge in the upsurge of independent brewing in the UK. We're proud of our pubs and always pleased to see new breweries popping up all the time.

Rafters Restaurant
Rafters is an exceptional dining experience with friendly Sheffield service. They’ve retained 2 AA rosettes and achieved a Michelin Guide listing - so you know you're getting quality throughout. The restaurant is in a beautifully converted attic in Ranmoor.
Tonco
Tonco is one of the most friendly restaurants you'll find. Working with big, bold flavours in a really modern and unique way, they offer eclectic sharing plates and fabulous wine.
Bench

Expert Cocktails
Public
Public is quite simply stunning. Occupying the former gent’s toilet below the grade-1 listed Victorian town hall, Public is a tiny haven of fine drinks and delicious food - or as it was once described: ‘A Wes Anderson train carriage crowbarred in to an old bog’.
Society
An intimate venue with funky soundtracks and swanky decor to create an atmosphere filled with great vibes. The drinks include masterfully crafted cocktails, the finest spirits, select wines and premium draught beer. All you have to do is bring the people you love.
The Gin Bar at Vintedge
A bar selling premium and local gins, The Gin Bar is located in the heart of the Abbeydale Road scene with a vintage look and feel.
Picture House Social
Down the stairs, under the old Abbeydale Picture House building, you'll find a bar, canteen, rear terrace, Shuffle Shack and live music venue.
Lykke
Sheffield's very own Danish themed bar and coffee house. It's a beautifully designed interior with a cosy scandi vibe, and some absolute decadence when it comes to cocktails. Plus there's tasty brunch fare and some tapas and slider type food to satisfy your hunger.

Cutlery Works
Cutlery Works has gone down in Sheffield as one of the best redevelopment stories in a good while. It took a decrepit former cutlery factory in an up-and-coming area, and redesigned it into what it is today; a popular food hall in the Kelham Island area of Sheffield.
