Festival of the Outdoors 2025
Every March, as the days are getting longer, drier, and warmer in Sheffield, we celebrate what it means to be The Outdoor City, by hosting the Festival of the Outdoors.
You'll find everything from large-scale international sporting events to small community gatherings; from guided walks to some of the worlds hardest bouldering problems; outdoor markets to film festivals.

Festival of the Outdoors 2025
The Festival of the Outdoors is back! Throughout March, celebrate The Outdoor City and our lush green spaces. From large-scale international sporting events to small community gatherings; from guided walks to some of the worlds hardest bouldering problems; outdoor markets to film festivals, there's something for everyone.
The Boy with a Leg Named Brian: Memoirs by Pete McKee
This major new exhibition takes visitors on a nostalgia-filled journey through the childhood of one of Sheffield best-loved artists, Pete McKee.
A Streetcar Named Desire at the Crucible
In the sultry back streets of 1940s New Orleans, fading Southern belle Blanche DuBois seeks solace with her estranged sister Stella. Passions ignite and illusions are shattered in Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play as its performed live on the Crucible stage.

Big Kid Circus returns to Meadowhall. This year’s spectacular show ‘Kingdom of Kong’ promises an unforgettable experience for all ages, featuring a jaw dropping towering 30ft King Kong for the first time in the UK.
Habitat - Mixed Group Show
A new exhibition is coming this week, starting with an opening event on Friday 14th, starting at 19:30 pm. This new mixed group show is well worth a visit.

ShAFF at Showroom Cinema 2025
Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF) is back for its 19th year 21 - 23 March, as they head to Showroom Cinema for a weekend to showcase the world's best adventure, travel, and extreme sports films.
